There is a set of products which are built on top of the ODB-II base and run as client applications. These include:
Embedded ODQL preprocessor -The preprocessor and compiler for ODQL embedded in C or C++ programs;
ODQL interpreter - The interpretive environment for executing ODQL statements entered from the terminal or from a file;
ModelWorks - A graphical tool for data modeling, schema design, database browsing, and database administration;
PC interface - ODB-II provides networking facilities (called Remote ODQL or RODQL) to allow a client application on a Windows PC to access an ODB-II server on a UNIX platform. This runs over a standard TCP/IP connection or any other PC network accessible through the standard Winsocks interface. An API library is provided to allow the client application to be written in Visual Basic, C or C++;
Class libraries - Predefined classes providing multimedia support and linkage.
